Tuesday is for comparisons

The morning started at Stephen S. Wise. Besides it being a beautiful day ...we had a beautiful view of the San Fernando Valley

After a morning of learning about Reform Judaism in Los Angeles we took a ride on the bus...

and went to Oaks Christian (one of the L.A. Hebrew High sites)

Where our partners experienced Hebrew High and we saw (well those of us who don't go to Oaks Christan) got to see how nice.... their class rooms are.

but now it is time to go home and start planing for Purim

Monday, March 17, 2008

If it's Monday it must be...

Time to get on the bus
and go see L.A.
Well actually Wilshire Blvd.

We went to 6505 and heard about what they do for Israel, the USA and the rest of the world.

We played with monopoly money to see if we could do it any better and you know....it's not that easy to decide where the money goes.

And now we can say that we have seen all the BIG synagogues on Wilshire. We saw Sinai on Sunday when we arrived so today we did Wilshire Blvd Synagogue and The Sephardic Temple.

The styles were diffrent but they were both very very BIG

They have arrived

The room was all set and we were just waiting for our partners to arrive

and then someone said

they are here

We found our partners

had some lunch

and a few introductions
